CROWDFUNDING, SPONSORSHIP AND PAYMENT TERMS
Nature of Financial Support
By contributing funds via GitHub Sponsors, Buy Me a Coffee, or any other integrated payment
gateway during this phase of the project, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that your
payment is a voluntary commercial sponsorship.
* These funds do not constitute a charitable donation, an investment, or a purchase of company equity.
* Eirene Tech Society is currently operated by an individual creator and is not a registered
non-profit, Section 8 entity, or NGO. Therefore, your contributions are not eligible for tax-deductions
under Section 80G or any other global tax-exempt frameworks.
Digital Rewards and Indirect Benefits
Any perks, digital rewards, or indirect benefits provided to sponsors (including, but not limited to,
free API tier access, alpha/beta testing privileges, logo placement, feature request or public credit/acknowledgment)
are provided entirely at the creator's discretion.
* These perks are non-transferable and do not create a permanent service-level agreement (SLA) or a binding client-vendor contract.
* The creator reserves the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue specific sponsor rewards or API tiers at any time due to
technical constraints or project updates.
Strictly Non-Refundable
All sponsorships, micro-donations, and tier payments are final, processed immediately, and strictly non-refundable. By initiating a payment transaction, you waive any rights to a chargeback or refund based on project delays, feature changes, or a shift in the project's development roadmap.
International Compliance and Local Taxes
For international sponsors, your transaction is processed as a cross-border commercial payment for digital sponsorship services.
* You are solely responsible for any local taxes, currency conversion fees, or bank charges incurred on your end.
* For domestic Indian sponsors, these payments are recognized as business revenue under Indian tax laws, and the
operator complies with all personal income tax and GST frameworks mandated by the Government of India.
Limitation of Personal Liability
You agree to support this open-source project "as-is" without any warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the individual creator shall not be held personally liable for any service interruptions, API downtime, data losses, or direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the platform or your financial sponsorship.
